What you are trying to do
with SinusCleanser is create the same effect as
flushing out your sinuses while swimming in the
ocean. You want the SinusCleanser to penetrate
deeply into the sinus cavities, which extend
above the eyebrows and sideways below the eyes.
One customer, Dr. Bette
Johnson, discovered a simple and effective
technique for using the Sinus Cleanser. Lay flat
on your back (on a bed, couch, or the floor) with
your head tilted back. Insert the Sinus Cleanser
bottle into your nostril opening. Slowly squeeze
the Sinus Cleanser bottle into the open sinuses
while sniffing to bring the solution up into your
sinus passages. Apply the Sinus Cleanser to the
other nostril. Close off your nose with your
thumb and forefinger. Keep the Sinus Cleanser
solution in the nose for 30 to 60 seconds, if
possible, before getting up to expel the
ingredients into the sink. Repeat this cleansing
procedure if you are having considerable sinus
congestion. Once again, since there will be
drainage after this cleansing, it is best to do
this procedure before getting into the shower.
Another technique is to
bend your head over the sink, squeeze the
SinusCleanser bottle up into the sinus passages,
making sure that you do not get the solution into
the lungs. Hold the solution in the sinuses for a
few seconds, then expel and gently blow your
nose. If symptoms of sinus congestion are severe,
then do this cleansing morning and evening until
symptoms subside. Once you get your symptoms
under control, use the SinusCleanser once daily
before getting into the shower.
